Before adding tokens to your MetaMask account, make sure that you have selected the correct network, namely the «Binance Smart Chain». If you do not have such a network in the list, then you need to add it according to this instruction
Now let’s add DESU tokens to the MetaMask account.
To add a DESU token, we only need the address of the token contract. What is a Token Contract Address, and where can you find them?
The contract address is what the token represents in the blockchain. By simply entering the contract number, your MetaMask wallet will automatically receive the token data from the smart contract.
Use BscScan.com to find DESU token contract details on the BEP20 protocol.
3 steps to add the DESU token BEP20 to MetaMask:
1. Go to bscscan.com. Find the contract number for the token to add it to your MetaMask wallet.

2. Now in the MetaMask wallet, go to the add tokens page and select custom tokens
3. Enter the contact address of the token that you just copied from the block explorer bscscan.com or from this instruction. Now the details of the token, such as: name, symbol and value (quantity), will be automatically extracted from the smart contract.
Once the information is received, click «Next» and add the token. The DESU BEP20 custom token is now added to your wallet.
Don’t forget to make sure you select the Binance smart chain and connect to it so that everything works. Only then can the wallet get information about the BEP20 token.
