This year was quite challenging for the whole crypto market. Lots of projects have been scammed and hacked undermining the confidence of users and leaving them without invested money. Many companies as well as single users could not stand the pressure, as happens every crypto winter, and left the market.
Despite all the difficulties of 2022, Dexport was able to resist and even grow exponentially this year, and this is a merit not only of the team, but also of our users.
Let’s take a deep dive into how dexsport has evolved throughout the year 🔍
First of all, 2022 is the year of Dexsport mainnet launch! It is the main event of the year without which the other ones don’t make sense. 25 January is etched into the Dexsport history as the date it all started. From that day on, we immediately began working on the development and improvement of the platform.
Having collected the first users feedback, we’ve started to develop and implement new features and improvements to the platform: make it more user-friendly and easy to use, add new betting pools and then blockchains, expand the sport line and events choice. Some of the improvements have been implemented during the year and others collected and announced with our first massive RED update.
Making a long story short, in 2022 Dexsport:
— has launched the mainnet
— released a massive RED update
— partnered with over 30 major projects among which 13 new betting pools, 4 large blockchains and about 15 strategic partnerships.
— held about 15 giveaways, contests and marketing campaigns
— implemented turbo games CrashX and DexDice
— completed our first World Cup and many equally important tournaments both in traditional sports and eSport
— the first and we hope the last hacker attack on the protocol which we passed with dignity, hasn’t lost a single user.
Dexsport ends the year with 8,000 users, 200,000 bets placed, 1,100,000 TVL in the protocol and 12,000 DESU holders but it’s only the beginning. There are great plans for 2023 and we hope the market will stabilize and be favorable for the further development. Being a pioneer on the market is difficult, but by trial and error we find working mechanics and continue developing our project.
